  • Erica Lenzner
    Erica Lenzner
    Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I have always had a great interest in helping others. As a nurse there are a multitude of ways to help people. In 2017 I graduated with my master's degree in nursing education then I continued on to obtain my Postmasters certificate as Family Nurse Practice at Duquesne University. During this time of working as a Family Nurse Practitioner I grew a passion for mental health and realized what an underserved population it is. I then went back to school and obtained a Postmaster Certificate as a Psychiatric mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Duquesne University. I have worked in a variety of settings from the Pediatric population to Geriatrics. Every population has their own needs, it is important to me to work together with you to find out what works best whether that be with medication, therapy or a combination of both.

I grew up in Southwestern Pennsylvania on a small farm. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking walking or kayaking, or with my little yorkie 'Jake.'  I also enjoy traveling and being with my family.  It is important to learn to take time for oneself. I believe in a holistic approach to one's own psychological health and wellness that involves the relationship between physical, mental and emotional health. Let's work together to make a healthier you!

  • Andrea Spevetz
    Andrea Spevetz
    MSPC, LPC

Andie Spevetz, LPC. I started my mental health career as a Certified Peer Support Specialist, which means that I have personal experience with mental health  struggles. After realizing that I couldn't do everything I wanted to do without a degree I went back to school to get my MSPC.

My no-nonsense approach is tempered by my personal experience and relatable demeanor. Clients looking for a mix of accountability and support are often a good fit. I work with all ages able to reliably use telehealth to its fullest potential (sitting and focusing on the appointment is very important).

I specialize in ADHD, trauma/PTSD, mood disorders, and parent coaching. I use a psycho education model to help clients understand why they think or behave the way they do; then by using CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and other techniques help change problematic thoughts and feelings. I also use art, play, and other physical activities to help foster positive growth and relationships.

  • Brian Kelly
    Brian Kelly
    MS, LPC

My counseling experience has taken me to a variety of environments so far. I have worked at an in-patient facility, in college counseling, and in out-patient private practice. Collectively, these have given me a wide lens of the human experience and shaped me as a counselor.

I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults in both individual and couples counseling. I have experience with anxiety, depression, ADHD, vocational counseling, trauma-based therapy, body dysmorphia, and couples counseling. These experiences have allowed me to help clients to improve their overall quality of life and build their confidence with regard to meeting life’s challenges.

I utilize an eclectic approach in individual sessions, mainly focusing on ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). By using a blend of backgrounds and strategies, I can help clients find psychological flexibility and individual awareness. My goal is for clients to create a solid identity. In short, I help people feel more like themselves.

With couples’ counseling, I am deeply rooted within the lens of Gottman’s model to help repair broken relationships. The goal is to help couples realize their roles within the relationship and build on the fundamentals of love and trust.

Often in a counseling journey, people begin with a lack of confidence but later realize they were stronger than they thought. I enjoy helping people become an expert on themselves and use that knowledge on the next leg of their journey. Together we can build a bright future.

  • Sandra Vujnovic
    Sandra Vujnovic
    Licensed Clinical Psychologist

I am a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience providing treatment to adults presenting with a range of mental health difficulties, in outpatient, inpatient and institutional settings. I specialize in treating depressive and anxiety disorders, utilizing cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic/psychoanalytic treatment modalities, when this looks like it would be useful to the patient.

Basically, we would acknowledge distressful feelings such as depression, anxiety or anger, but then explore the history of what thoughts and ideas may be contributing to these feelings, with the idea that these thoughts may not be completely accurate and need to be reexamined in therapy, giving a client the opportunity to reframe rules and ideas to have a more useful and productive way to interact with problematic people and situations. Additional areas of experience include couples therapy and dealing with sexual dysfunctions and disorders, and sexual identity concerns.

My goal is to always provide empathy, optimism, and genuineness to those that I work with.

I enjoy working with women and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, academic setbacks, stress, or issues involving relationships, self-esteem, PCOS, pregnancy, and fertility. I focus on using a humanistic approach, which means I encourage you to explore your emotions, focus on your strengths, and find your meaning.

While seeking help and experiencing change could both be challenging, I hope to make your journey of self-discovery exciting. The world is chaotic - I will always remind you that you do not have to work through challenges alone. I would love to be able to work with you on your next journey through change.

  • Jamie Christina Giovinali
    Jamie Christina Giovinali
    LPC, CCTP

I have always desired to work in the field of counseling, supporting individuals on their path to understanding their feelings, behaviors, and thoughts in order to make changes and explore solutions. In my work as a pediatric infant mental health specialist and behavioral therapist, I have had opportunity to support diverse needs ranging from challenging behaviors, anxiety, depression, PTSD, domestic violence, relationship issues, and adverse experiences.

My experiences in pediatric mental health, adolescent, adult, and family trauma have assisted in my professional role as a counselor, deepening my drive to help individuals who have experienced trauma and adversity. I believe that developing skills in recognizing healthy emotions and thoughts can bridge the healing process to supporting healthy behaviors.

Psychodynamic best suites my theoretical orientation. I use an integration of eclectic modalities to assist in the treatment of clients including play therapy, cognitive process therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotion focused therapy.

I look forward to joining you on your journey as we bridge your strengths to discover healing and personal wellness.
